Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
77 Sugar Creek Center Blvd, Ste 600, Sugar Land, TX
Hello, I'm Mosun. Do you feel alone in this journey of life and wary of discussing your mental health problems? Are you freaking out because your treatment option was not effective? Are you concerned about accessing compassionate, effective, and long-lasting care for your mental health challenges? I know dealing with mental health issues is not easy, nor is seeking help to meet these needs, but I'm here to help. I'm a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, trained at the University of Texas, Arlington, where I earned my Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I am adequately prepared to diagnose and treat mental health concerns. I see clients across the life cycle with diverse mental health issues ranging from depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, sleep disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, ADHD, destructive/conduct disorders, personality disorders, and many more. However, effective treatment outcomes start with you telling your story, but it's difficult to share your story with a stranger. That's why we strive for a trusting provider-client relationship from the very beginning. A good understanding of your background and the root cause of the problem allows us to develop an individualistic and achievable treatment plan. I know mental health treatment is a lengthy pathway, but be assured that you will not walk that path alone. We'll be there together to give it what it takes.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My mission statement is “optimism in all life’s endeavors”. I encouraged my clients to be optimistic about their care. All things are possible if you believe in it. Majorly mental health problems occur when there are structural defects in the brain or imbalances in the brain chemicals or neurotransmitters. In medication management, the drugs prescribed are synthetic neurotransmitters that help to correct the imbalances. Medication management may be short-term for a period or maybe a long-term, life-long treatment with medication. Whatever pathway, clients will not be left in limbo.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
