During my appointment with a provider, she put me on hold to answer a personal call and took another call during our follow-up. We didn't discuss my labs or questionnaire, and I felt like she didn't care about my concerns. It was disappointing to have sought help and end up with a careless provider.
Without her knowledge, I captured a photo of her completely engrossed in a personal call. Unfortunately, this provider showcased nothing that could be considered professional; from the constant personal phone calls, her son playing with toys in the background, people chattering in the background, to her working in her pajamas. It is unfortunate that my experience was such a waste. Even now, as I type this, I feel a sense of frustration and disappointment.
