Dr. Lake earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Washington Adventist University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in nursing and her Doctoral degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama. She is an active member of various medical societies, including the Nurse Practitioners Association of Maryland, the World Association of Academic Doctors, and the National Association of Nigerian Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Lake enjoy spending time with her family when she is not working.
Dr. Lake is very compassionate, caring, listens, non-judgmental and treat everyone with dignity, empathy, and respect. Dr. Lake focuses on the individual as a whole, and collaborates with other professionals that are involved in her patient's care to ensure optimal stability, thus promoting good quality of life. Dr. Lake provides medication management for all mood (depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, schizophrenia, PTSD, etc) and mental health disorders, including Suboxone for persons struggling with Opioid Use and Vivitrol for persons struggling with Alcohol Use. Dr. Lake work with other professionals to help her patients that are struggling with Substance abuse to prevent relapse.
