I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with my Doctorate degree along with specialized training in neurodiversity. I enjoy working to provide thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and young adults navigating the complexities of neurodivergent minds, such as with Autism, ADHD, anxieties, OCD as well as other mental health conditions. I believe medication can be a valuable tool, but it's not always the first or only answer. I take a combined approach, integrating psychotherapeutic modalities alongside medication management when warranted. Every person who walks through my (virtual) door receives a comprehensive evaluation and an individualized treatment plan—not a one-size-fits-all prescription. This means we'll talk. We'll collaborate. We'll figure out what actually works for you or your child, together. I understand that neurodivergent brains aren't broken—they're different. My goal isn't to "fix" anyone, but to help my clients understand how their minds work, develop strategies that fit their lives, and thrive on their own terms. In our first session together, here's what you can expect In our first session, I will ask many questions to get to know you including all your history of mental health concerns and any past treatments related to this. I will also ask many questions about your general health and medical history for you and your immediate family as well as your overall basic functioning in life, such as sleep routines, eating habits, activities that you do. We will also discuss current and past academics, work environment, friendships and relationships and how your faith or culture affects you.
