Quiero calificar todas mis citas, las 3 primeras estaran bien, pero despues ya no mostro interes, yo llamada y le dejaba mensajes y nada, solo recibia escusas, y que estaba fuera del estado de Ilimois, que el me llamaria al regresar, luego recibo una carta donde decia que se iba del estado y que si queria seguir viendo a otro Dr. Y pero a la vez me mando una carta donde me daba mi release que trabajara ya sin ninguna restriction, ni siquiera me pregunto como me siento!!! Me molesto mucho eso y fui a su oficina a decir lo molesta y frustada y decepcionada, me llamaron para darme otra cita con el, para el dia 06/26/2015 que me dijo el mismo que era su ultimo dia de trabajo en Illinous y que sentia mucho el mal entendido y pues que sus secretarias no le estaban comunicando de mis llamadas, me dio otro papel para mi trabajo con restricciones de no levantar nada de mas de 15 lbs. y hoy lo lleve a mi trabajo y la Sra. De Recursos Humanos me dijo, como te dieron un papel de release y ahora tienes otro con restricciones?, eso me hizo sentir muy mal. Por eso estoy desconforme con el Dr.

Been having trouble with my pec/shoulder/back for 3 months. Finally went to ER "have no insurance and decided this was best route" ER doc did say that he was by no means an expert but with my symptoms and length of inj had to see an orthopedic surgeon right away to get MRI and was probably in need of surgery. ER doc wanted to take x-rays to make sure there was no bone damage as a precaution but I declined. Setting the apt was a nightmare they actually refused to set one because I had a collection through them from 2006 that they wanted me to pay. Had to call the hospital and they called the doc to make them see me. "They were the on call orthos for the ER I went to". When I got to the apt I was treated like someone they knew was not intending on paying them. Doc told me my pec looked the same as the other "def not the case. Everyone I show it to can instantly see swelling on my sternum and side of my pec including ER doc"Told me it was not ruptured which I also think is the case. Official diagnosis pec sprain no MRI. No recommendation of rehab or follow up visit. Told me I was getting older and could probable return to normal function in 2 months. I have done tons of reasearch on my injury these last 3 months and am positive I don't have a pec sprain. Not sure the extent of my tear "and it is defiantly better than it was 3 months ago" but am afraid I could be causing damage to other areas of my body. Unless u are in similar circumstances to mine you will probably not be treated this way. Just makes u think cause I know if I was insured I definetly would of got an MRI and who knows what there recommendation would be after that. Maybe it is healing and all I need is rehab from here on out but that would of been nice to know for sure.

I was referred to Dr. Gombera through another physician in the practice and he has been fabulous. Dr. Gombera really took the time to explain everything from test results to treatment plan in depth and answered questions thoroughly. Never did I feel rushed at appointments or that I wasn't a priority. Both he and his assistant were awesome with getting scans approved as well as surgery with my insurance. They kept me updated every step of the way and communicated everything. Highly recommend Dr. Gombera!

Dr. Gombera was the third Doctor I have seen for my elbow issues. He was the only one that could explain why I was having issues and recommended therapy that actually made sense. I would highly recommend him to anyone with tennis or golf elbow.
The staff at the front counter and the PT desk where efficient and polite. I went there because of location to my office , but I would recommend this place to everyone who needs this kind of treatment.

One of the best physicians I've come across and I've seen many over the years. Very professional and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is wonderful and he will take the time to explain and answer all questions. He makes you feel comfortable and listens to what you have to say. Another huge plus is that he's funny and has a good sense of humor. A laid-back approach and will do what he can to help.
