Dr. Mukundini Mehta received her medical degree from Saurashtra University of India in 1971 and was honored with a Gold Medal in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a residency in Pediatric Surgery at the Irwin Group of Hospitals and M.P. Shah Medical College before coming to the United States. She then completed residencies in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Grant Hospital and Rush-Presbyterian- St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago.
Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, she has been an instructor and attending physician at Rush-Presbyterian- St. Lukes Medical Center, and has held hospital appointments at Elmhurst Memorial, MacNeal Hospital, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Columbus Cuneo Cabrini Medical Center.
Dr. Mehta’s objective is to provide excellent medical care, which involves appropriate, timely treatment with a sympathetic, friendly, and personal touch.
