I just moved back to CT and was in need of finding a new primary care doctor which is always a stressful decision because you don't want to choose the wrong doctor. So after reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to go with Dr. Nami Bayan and it was absolutely great. I didn't wait at all and then felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Bayan and he carefully listened to everything and asked every possible question to get a full understanding of my health. It was a great experience and happy I chose the right doctor.

They did not take the forms i filled out here on Zocdoc. so I had to fill out the forms again in person. Then I had to wait an hour to be seen. all told this checkup took 3 hours when it really should've been faster.

Very, very thorough. Very respectful, willing to answer questions and address concerns. Definitely does not seem like the kind of doctor that is just trying to get you in and out as quick as possible like the walk in clinics. He's easy going, and really easy to talk to. Truly hard to find a doctor who actually listens and tries to resolve your issue. Dr. Bayon takes the time and effort to thoroughly diagnose you. One of the best doctors I have ever had. The staff is professional and courteous. A++++++

Wow. I never write reviews, but i just had to this time. I can't express how amazed I was by the entire experience. Just blew out of the water most other doctor experiences I had in my life. Here's what I mean
1) Scheduled appointment on Zocdoc the night before (wow!), got an appointment the next day (only downside was that the appointment time had to be shifted later in the day, but receptionist called early to request this, and it was no problem).
2) The receptionist was super friendly, I mean beyond friendly. The kind of person who perks up your whole day!
3) The office is gorgeously decorated and brand new, very clean
4) I waited a very short time (like 10 mins or less)
5) EXTREMELY thorough diagnosis and examination. This doctor is an excellent listener, thinks of all possibilities and goes through them one by one. Orders any tests etc that may be necessary.
6) Very kind and explained all options.
7) Went out of his way to provide extra information (e.g. I am going on a trip soon to a developing country with some local illness risk. Without me even having to ask for it, he printed out a packet of materials on what kinds of preventions I can take to avoid getting sick in that region, and exactly what vaccines I would need for that region. He sat down and explained them to me one by one).
8) Very timely-- provided one of those vaccines (the flu shot) on the spot, no wait, etc.
