I think Dr. Bustamante is an incredible physician however I believe the Optum office and how its run as far how hard it is to get an appt, communication and being rushed are to blame.
She is patient and kind and very thorough in her explanations. She listens carefully to your questions and answers and breaks things down so that you can understand. She takes her time and talks to you like a friend. Not just a patient. I am very grateful to have her.
Dr. B. is just a joy and a true healer. She is the best family doc I've had in my 6 decades. We love her, my whole family. Treat her like gold gold, pls.
Very hard to get appointments to see her
Dr Bustamante spends the time needed with you and explains test results in a way that you understand. She answers your questions and explains why she says what she says.
She's pleasant enough and fairly thorough but the entire operation is a cattle call. I often have to wait an hour+ to be seen and neither the doctor or staff know why I'm there for an appointment. Several times theres been an issue with a prescription that requires my pharmacy to contact my doctor and the pharmacy does not get a response so my prescription doesn't get filled
Resolution of issues lacking at times, cant get physical exam due to going to part time. Referred to Nurse Practitioner on more occasions than one
