***There is a $500 intake fee for your first 90 minute evaluation with Dr. Dadson. The New Client Information Sheet and Psychiatric Evaluation Form must be filled out and faxed to 877-250-1841 before your scheduled appointment.***
Dr. Dadson has a particular interest in the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults with developmental disabilities, hyperactivity/inattention and executive dysfunction. She is a strong advocate for school-age children and adults with learning differences and works collaboratively with schools to obtain needed classroom modifications in order to ensure their success in their educational endeavors.
She also has a strong interest in the challenges faced by intellectually gifted adults with ADHD as they deal with the challenges of professional training, graduate school, and advanced examinations such as bar examinations and board certifications.
In addition to her strong interest in attention and learning disorders, Dr. Dadson has broad psychiatric experience in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in all age groups.
Dr. Dadson attended Tufts Medical School, where she graduated in 1998. She worked for over 10 years as a general psychiatrist in the US Navy where she treated active duty military members and their families, including many children, adolescents and adults struggling with issues related to ADHD. More recently, Dr. Dadson completed a two-year child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC in June, 2012. Dr. Dadson is board certified in general psychiatry.
