She believes that a greater understanding of oneself allows “more personal control over choices and solutions, and it is shown by recent research to help individuals better maintain their treatment gains over time.”
Dr. Lawrenz is available to patients as young as 6 years old, and she provides individual and couples therapy modalities. Dr. Lawrenz compassionately and thoroughly walks her patients through issues such as ADHD, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, adoption, divorce, infertility, parenting, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Using treatments like psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapies, Dr. Lawrenz is equipped to guide her patients’ way down the road of recovery and self-knowledge.
