Fantastic appointment fantastic doctor. I've spent the lost 4 years dealing with long waits and urgent care facilities in Los Angeles. Now that I'm back in NYC I decided to use Zocdoc and find a doc for my INSANE allergies. Zocdoc scheduled me for an apt in the wrong location. The doctor called me personally and arranged for me to meet him at the location he was working in for the moment. I'd like to add, I checked in on zocdoc and was seen basically as soon as I walked in. Sat down for no longer than 120 seconds. Apt went smooth doctor was friendly funny knowledgeable and down to earth. Five stars all the way from Los Angeles

Dr. Kumar was personable, and attentive. He took notes and also took time to educate me a bit about my allergies.

I'd like to say that Doctor Kumar came across as a nice man. It wasn't his manners or his conduct that have led me to giving a bad review:
First things first, in my Zocdoc appointment notes to the Doctor, before getting my appointment approved, I wrote that I would be using an HSA card for the appoint. It wasn't until I was sitting in his office, after all my vitals were taken that I was informed that he would not take cards. This to me was the first red flag.
When I told him that I had indicated I would be using a HSA in my Zocdoc notes and had no way of knowing they wouldn't take card, the Doctor's secretary accused me of having visited that office previously and that I should know this information. I told her I had never been in the office before and she said told me that my information was already in the computer. It wasn't until Doctor Kumar tried to search me on his computer that he realized she accidentally put the information in twice. Sitting there being accused of lying was very uncomfortable.
Another one of the secretaries upfront said we could try charging my HSA onto the other doctor's account and then he could send Doctor Kumar the amount personally. This did not work. Finally, I was just told I could send Doctor Kumar a check and that I would be sent a bill with the amount, but upon going to Doctor Kumar's office at the end of my allergy test, I was given a simple piece of paper with an address on it to send the bill to. Because I thought I was going to receive I bill, I held onto the address for when I had proof of appointment and pricing.
A few weeks have gone by and I was called by Doctor Kumar's main secretary asking me why I haven't sent the money yet. I told her that I hadn't received a bill. She tried to make excuses, telling me that they couldn't send me a bill, which went against everything I was told by the secretary up front. I told her that I would not be sending anything until I was sent a proper bill like any normal Doctor's office would provide. It wasn't until this moment that she said okay and we hung up.
This kind of headache is exhausting and I would not recommend this spot to anyone. The business dealings are beyond shady and it seems they are trying to do things under the table, which makes me incredibly uncomfortable.

The receptionist was rude. I asked if we needed to sign anything and she said no, for us to just sit. We waited 45min and then I got up to ask the another receptionist as to what is going on. She told us that the doctor is late and she will call him. She said he will arrive in 5 min but we waited another 30min.
Note: I WAS THE ONLY PATIENT IN THERE.

Horrible service! I do not recommend. The waiting room was cluttered, weight scales were the waiting area without any privacy for the patients, and I waited more than an hour just to be seen.
