Although this doctor is not my primary physician, I have seen her before at a different office. She gave me an injection for trigger finger several months ago. She was very gentle and tried not to hurt me too much. For this reason I returned to see her at her permanent office. She is a wonderful doctor.

More about Dr. Nasrin S. Damoui, MD

For patient safety, MemorialCare Medical Group providers will not prescribe most controlled substances (including opioids like codeine, and benzodiazepines like valium) for new patients they have only evaluated via telehealth, rather than in person. Many controlled substances have a high potential for abuse, and overdose on controlled substances may result in death. Without an in person visit, the potential risk outweighs the intended benefit. If you believe you may need a prescription for a controlled substance, please schedule an in person visit. Prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Damoui practiced family and emergency medicine in her home country. In 1996, she obtained a position as a research associate in Epidemiological Cardiology at the University of Southern California (USC); then followed that with a position in the Heart and Lung Center in Beverly Hills. After completing her United States internship and residency program she spent a year as the Medical Director for a Hospice program in Texas. In 2003, Dr. Damoui returned to California and her first love, Family Medicine. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and going shopping.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH MY VISITS TO MEMORIAL CARE. THE STAFF HAS BEEN COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. DR. DAMOUI HAS ALWAYS BEEN KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT ANY CONCERN I MIGHT HAVE. AND YES, I WOULD RECOMMEND MEMORIAL CARE AND DR. DAMOUI TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE.
Dr. Damoui is always outstanding in every way. She is so professional, warm, and kind; very dedicated to her patients. I saw her recently for my pre-op appointment. I did take medication while in surgery and the hsopital, but do not take any medication on a routine basis.
