I am a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist. In 2011 I founded Tribeca Nutrition, a nutrition counseling practice with the focus in pediatric and prenatal nutrition, food allergies and weight management. I also work as a nutritionist for Head Start, a federal agency offering a variety of services to families with small children.
In 2012 I developed a series of evidence-based and age-specific pediatric nutrition workshops "The nuts and bolts of child feeding", now offered in a variety of location in NYC. I am very excited to launch their online version on my website www.tribecanutrition.com in 2013. As a mother of two and nutrition professional, I am very passionate about helping parents solve nutritional problems and raise healthy eaters.
I graduated with a Master Degree in Nutrition Education from Columbia University, Teachers College and was fortunate to learn and practice child and family nutrition, weight loss counseling and Medical Nutritional Therapy for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, GI disorders, food allergies and women’s health at a variety of exceptional settings including Jaffe Food Allergy Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Obesity Research Center at St Luke’s Roosevelt hospital.
My office is conveniently located within 5 min walk from Chambers Street station (subway lines 1, 2, 3) and you can take advantage of my home visits for no additional fee if you live south of Canal Street. Although my office does not take insurance, many of my clients had no problem getting reimbursement from their insurance companies directly.
