About Nathaniel Wilson
Dr. Nathaniel Wilson obtained his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. With an emphasis on holistic care and optimal living, Dr. Wilson has developed a clinical practice on wellness for families, individuals, and couples in Atlanta. In addition to teaching graduate courses in psychology at an area university, Dr. Wilson’s research work and specialty practice involves offering Ntu psychotherapy – an Africentric approach to health and healing, which is based on the traditions of the Bantu people of West Africa. Although he has been in the field of mental health for over 10 years, his work as both a relational and family adoptions life coach is among his current endeavors. As NTU additionally focuses on the “essence” that defines who we are, the approach encourages us to realize that we are not separate from all we desire to positively experience and attract in our lives. Ntu principles assume that all could lead a harmonious, balanced, authentic life, with strong interpersonal ties and relations. Affiliations include memberships to the Georgia Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, as well as the Association of Black Psychologist. At the Atlanta Center for Family Wellness, LLC (ACFW) our chief mission is to assist others in re-examining their life perspectives, to learn from past experiences, and choose a healthy and holistic way to living. With an interest in assisting families, individuals, and couples to lead more authentic lives, our services focus on achieving optimal levels of health and wellness. New patients are welcomed to go online to schedule an appointment.

Patient reviews for Nathaniel Wilson, PsyD
Not impressed, went for counseling and after 3 visits “fired” him - think more damage caused than help given. Told my husband and I that our relationship was dead - we went there to try to work through better communication... shuffled between an intern and himself... Would not recommend.
I was little nervous about visiting a psychologist but I knew I needed help...I thank God that he placed Dr.Nathaniel Wilson and staff in my life ..I look forward to seeing their smiling faces every week! From my first dr visit my whole life changed for the better!
The office is in a great location, with plenty of parking available. I met with Jasmine, another psychologist at this practice and I've been seeing her weekly since May 21st. It's like talking to a good old friend every week. I feel comfortable and free to speak candidly. I've never looked forward to a psych appointment before.
Met with the associate for the intake visit. She was very insightful, patient, and professional. She also had a great ability to ask questions without making us feel too uncomfortable. Looking forward to meeting with Dr Wilson.
Great visit - they made me feel comfortable and at ease. They made it feel like a conversation vs. a session and went at a pace that was comfortable for me. Thank you !
Getting an appointment was easy I entered all information online which made the check-in process very simple. Everything was explained well. I was seen right away. Customer service and bedside manner was awesome. I felt better when I left the office.
No fault to the staff or facility, but finding parking was troublesome for my first visit. Nevertheless, the staff is very patient and engaging. This being only my first visit, today served as a standard Q&A. I felt comfortable answering their questions and look forward to my next appointment.
I would highly recommend dr Wilson and his staff for anyone that’s looking for people who truly care about the well being of others
Dr Wilson and his team were very respectful of my needs and privacy for me, as well as others. I didn’t feel like another case number I felt very comfortable being there. I would recommend Dr Wilson and his team to anyone who may be looking for someone to just simply listen to them
Jasmine was great and I enjoyed my sessions with her. She we able to help me to my satisfaction.
Well I did not get to see Dr. Wilson but I did get to sit with one of his associates Ms. Jasmine. She was wonderful, professional, and made it easy to get comfortable enough to open up.
Dr. Wilson is one of the best doctors of any type I've ever had. Great choice!
