She is an incredibly compassionate and caring doctor. You can tell she's taking care to make you feel safe and heard. Yes, the wait times are long. It's worth it for me to have found a primary care doctor I like and feel comfortable with, but I don't disagree that you should just take the day off when you go and maybe bring some work or a good book or a portable charger for your phone to the waiting room. The wait for my second visit was a lot better than my first, but it was still significantly later than my scheduled appointment time (over an hour). But everyone there, from the ladies at the front desk to the nurses, to the doctor, to the person who took my blood in the attached diagnostic lab was beyond kind, wonderful, and skillful. Also, if you schedule an appointment on zocdoc, please call the office to confirm they have the appointment on the books at the time you scheduled it--not just with this doctor, but with anyone. I've only actually used zocdoc to schedule twice and both times, with two different doctors at two different offices, there were issues with the scheduling. I know it's less convenient to call and make sure they have your appointment but it will save you time in the long run so you don't show up for an appointment you booked a week ago that somehow never made it to their system. God bless zocdoc though, because I wouldn't have gone here without the other positive reviews for this doctor but they also prepared me for they wait time so I wasn't too cranky when I encountered that.

The slowest doctors office you’ll ever visit, it’s almost like they don’t know how to manage and book their appointments. Be prepared to be there for a minimum of 3 hours.

My 2 year old and my husband waited 3 hours and half and nothing was done. A waist of a day. Not professional office. Did not even have the courtesy to let us know what was going until three hours later

She's very nice and professional once you get in to see her, but my appointment was at 10:00 and I didn't get seen until 2:00. Some people who were impatient and uncivilized started cursing and complaining about the wait to the front desk, and were seen ahead of me tho they arrived after me. It was an aggravating ordeal, but if you don't mind waiting there for 4 hours...she'll write you the prescription you need.

I really appreciate Dr. Desai. I went for a follow up appointment and was seen much faster than on my first appointment about a month ago. Although there is always a wait, it is worth it. Dr. Desai is thorough and sure to explain everything very clearly. She makes you feel comfortable asking questions and bringing up concerns that you might have. She truly wants you to understand your body and even your mental health. She's also willing to make a referral if you need more support or encourage you to try holistic methods like reducing your stress rather than going straight to a medication. Most importantly, she does not assume that you don't know what you're talking about when you have a concern. She listens and provides feedback or clarity. It is very important for me to have a doctor that values my input because it is my body and my health after all. I look forward to seeing her again several months from now.

All the staff were professional and very efficient.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and a real pleasure to interact with.
I chose the doctor as a PCP for my adult child and when I found myself in need of a new PCP I decided to make my own appointment.
I would highly recommend her to anyone who asks.
