Dr. Nausheen Samee joined Personal Physicians in 2011. She attended medical school at Creighton University in Nebraska and completed her internship with Loyola University Medical Center before completing her residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Samee is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
As a General Practitioner, Dr. Samee has a special interest in preventative medicine, women's health, and weight management. Dr. Samee pursued primary care because it allows her to be on the front line of patient care and to be present during some of the most important times of her patient's lives. She enjoys internal medicine because it allows her to treat the entire spectrum of human ailments and have the great honor to coordinate the overall care of the patient.
She brings our medical offices a fresh perspective, enthusiasm, and up-to-date knowledge which she hopes will make a positive difference in her patient's health care, and she sees herself as a partner who can assist them in making decisions that will impact their total health.

Doctor seemed annoyed taking to me about my ailments and made me feel as if my problems were stupid. Blatantly disregarded my own past personal (bad) experiences with specific medication and thought I would react fine, in her opinion. Truly did not ask the appropriate probing questions to better understand me, and her flippant attitude was a complete waste of time. I truly had hopeful expectations after seeing good reviews here that I would find a primary care doctor that I could establish a trustworthy and lasting relationship with - Dr. Samee unfortunately is not the right fit for me.

Dr. Samee Was extremely nice and professional. However the personnel who works upfront initially were extremely rude and very unprofessional. When I walked in and approached the desk the 2 individuals who were at the desk didn't acknowledge my presence. They continued having their personal discussion. So I waited about a minute or so and neither of them approached me therefore I took it upon myself to say hello. It was the weirdest experience considering I was the only patient at the desk and for that matter, the only patient in the waiting area. Once I got some attention, the older woman who works the desk almost sent me away because I didn't have my insurance card. I asked her if she could look me up and her first response was no. I asked if I could call blue cross blue shield and retrieve the information she needed and she said no. She was persistent about me presenting my insurance card. It wasn't until I was getting ready to exit that she called me back and stated, "let me see what I can do." This should have been her first response. It may not be the best idea to have clerks working the desk who doesn't give attention to detail, aren't customer service oriented, or care about their job. It is highly recommended that this issue be addressed or this same situation may happen to someone else and this office location will continue to lose patients.
