Dr. Hope’s office and support staff were great -- super friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Very easy to talk to, especially the nurse or whoever checked me before the doctor came in. Dr. Hope, on the other hand, is much more reserved and blunt. She is not rude, but she is not very warm. Having a personable, approachable physician is very important for me when discussing my personal and sensitive medical information. It was a very in-and-out experience and less of a conversation about what I need from my PCP. Dr. Hope's personality and bedside manner are not a good fit for my needs, so I will probably go back to my initial PCP although that doctor is an hour away from my house.
