Dr. Neeraja Mattay graduated from Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia, as valedictorian of her class. She attended Georgetown University, where she graduated first in her class. She completed her medical training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. She was elected to the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. After receiving her doctorate in medicine, she completed one year of training in internal medicine, and three years of dermatology residency, also at the Medical College of Virginia, where she received the Dermatology Department’s Award for Excellence in Academics and Teaching. Dr. Mattay now holds a teaching appointment at the George Washington University Medical Center. She is a Washingtonian "Top Doc", a” Northern Virginia Top Doctor”, and a “US News Top Doctor”

After seeing numerous Dermatologists over the years, I can honestly say Dr. Mayttay provided the BEST experience yet. I very much appreciated her “real life” approach to sun exposure (wear sunscreen but live your life”) and her conservative approach to spot removal. I will definitely be back and will also be scheduling an appt for my husband as well.

I was blessed to be seen and treated by Dr. Mattay. I was attended to promptly by the receptionist and then the special nurse. Dr. Mattay explained all I needed to know about the treatment and the surgery was done in no time at all. I received full and personalized attention from the doctor.
