Dr. Jones earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with distinction in Medical Education from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He served eight years as a dermatologist in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

The doctor was friendly enough. However, his support staff are deplorable. They don't followup as stated, and can't find paperwork that is required beforehand. I filled out paperwork on zocdoc, at the office and then again afterwards. I would not recommend this practice based on the office staffs incompetence

This was my first visit. Very friendly office staff. Easy to fill out forms beforehand through a link and in-office on an iPad for medical history. Doctor saw me quickly, was very professional but relaxed. Doctor was clear and explained things very well.

A friend of mine who was treated here recommended this place to me. It's a really good clinic, the doctors are very kind and they really try to understand you. Everything made me feel confident and in professional hands. The reception staff were eager and helpful in assisting me. As soon as I left, I recommended the clinic and Dr. James Jones to my friends.

Dr. Jones was 20 minutes late to our appointment and then rushed through his diagnosis / recommendations, using clinical terms without taking the time to explain them. I was given a patient handout that is helpful, but states "I discussed with the patient [XYZ]", although this was not actually discussed during our encounter.
On the plus side, the office staff was very friendly / professional, and I am hopeful that the treatment will provide relief for my skin condition.

This review is a reflection of the practice and not specifically Dr. Jones. He was great.
I would NOT recommend going here at all. This practice took more than a week to call my insurance for prior authorization approval. They did not communicate with me at all about what was going on. When I called the office, I was met by a very rude person who just kept telling me to text the system. After another week there was still no communication and I had to text through Klara again to understand what was going on on. Afterwards, they told me my prescription was transferred to AllMed and that I should receive the medication within a day. Good thing I called AllMed to check on the status, because they told me that I needed to pay and my medication would not have been delivered. The woman from this office had told me the opposite where the medication was completely covered and that it would be out for delivery.

Dr. Jones and his staff were friendly, courteous, efficient, and thorough. Wait time was an absolute minimum. Diagnosis and treatment were easily discussed, enabling an effective resolution to my issues. Dr. Jones’ ability to quickly examine and discover possible issues is second to none.

Dr. Jones is the best out there. Been to several do doctors about my condition but they seem to be dismissive about my concerns. Dr. Jones took the time to examine and diagnose. Then went ahead to explain the cause, how to treat in the short term and how to manage in the long term

Dr Jones is the very best. He listens to the issues and explains the remedies clearly. Offers follow up help should it be necessary. Quickly solved a chronic skin issue I had for years that other doctors couldn’t figure out. My go-to dermatologist, period.
