Dr. Shah grew up in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He returned home after training and has been practicing cardiology and interventional cardiology in this area since 2003. He currently maintains staff privileges at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Jupiter Medical Center, Wellington Regional Medical Center and Palms West Hospital. He received his medical degree at the University of Miami and completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, He completed both his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the University of Miami(FL). Dr. Shah holds fellowships with the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography Interventions . He is Board Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. Dr Shah's main interests are coronary and peripheral vascular intervention, but he also practices general cardiology. Dr. Shah was a prior chairman of interventional cardiology/vice chairman of cardiology at Palm Beach Gardens Medical center
