I get really bad anxiety when I go to the doctor and I hadn’t been to see one in a long time. She was very professional straight to point made me feel comfortable.I had a great experience and I’m definitely coming back to see her again.

My experience as a new patient at Dr. Patel’s office was great!
Dr. Patel was very professional, had great bedside manners, and was very considerate of my needs.
I had an unexpected incident with my insurance being declined (my employer changed my provider without my knowledge), so I had to pay out of pocket. When I later found my correct provider, Roberta at the front desk went out of her way to reimburse my expense and reclaim the bill against my updated provider. This was above and beyond her typical responsibilities, and I greatly appreciated her willingness to help.
Overall, I would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Patel was born in Vancouver, BC, but grew up in Grants, New Mexico. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, followed by a medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Patel completed an internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and an internal medicine residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri and became a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists in 2018. Growing up, her parents encouraged her to go into the healthcare field, and she chose medicine because she was excited to develop meaningful relationships with her patients.

Dr. Patel’s areas on clinical interests include preventive care, diabetes and osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT).

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Dr. Patel. While my general physical went fine, I felt that she almost seemed irritated at several points throughout the appointment when I was seeking clarification about medications or trying to explain some of my medical history. One of the reasons for my visit was to discuss issues of mental health, and I felt very uncomfortable in how she responed to my request to learn more about the impacts of anti-depressants. I will be seeking guidance/a second opinion from another provider as I did not feel the sense of trust that I would personally need to navigate the vulnerable process of monitoring my mental health and medication use.

SCL Health has a great online system for making appointments, adding records, and getting results. I also got quick responses from the office on phone inquiries. Those two things alone are hard to find in a provider.
During my actual visit (yearly physical), Neha and staff were all very friendly and efficient to work with, and the office immediately filled out and faxed two forms I needed submitted to 3rd parties.
A few days after my visit, my lab results showed up online, then a day later, Neha had added her notes and analysis.
All around great visit and experience. I highly recommend Neha Patel, and SCL Health Medical Group.

It was the first time I had done a video appointment and I was so comfortable and she was wonderful and helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Patel was able to talk with me in such a respectful way and She helped me to understand what steps were necessary to move forward.
I am so happy I decided to change to a new doctor. I feel that I will finally have a partner who will help me to have the best healthcare possible.

The office staff and nurse were incredible nice and professional. The experience with the doctor was not as positive. This was my first time seeing this doctor and it was for an annual exam. I was bit put off when the doctor entered the room without a courtesy knock. Throughout the very brief appointment, I continued to be put off--I felt like my being there was something of an inconvenience for her. This was my first experience where a doctor did not ask, during any point of the appointment, if I had any questions or concerns. Towards the end of the hurried appointment, I did raise a question and she quickly dismissed my concern--not taking any note about it or probing further. Overall, it was not a good experience and I will not be returning.
