After completing her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of California San Diego in La Jolla, Dr. Ngoc Nguyen earned her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. She did her residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Dr. Nguyen, who has been in practice since 2020, treats patients of all ages. In addition to being board certified in family medicine, she holds certificates in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.
Her primary clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and heart failure. She treats common acute ailments such as upper respiratory infections, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, COPD and asthma.
Dr. Nguyen wants her patients to see her as an empathetic and compassionate physician— someone they can work with to come up with an approach to treatment they feel comfortable following. Her greatest professional satisfaction comes from building long-term relationships with patients and helping them make informed decisions about their health care.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and reading.
