Dr. Colyvas is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and has an additional board certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He trained in Orthopedics at UCSF, where he still teaches as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Sports Medicine Department in the Department of Orthopedics at UCSF. Dr. Colyvas has been in practice in the Bay Area for over 10 years and specialized in arthroscopy of the shoulders and knees. He is the team physician for a number of local sports teams. In addition to his academic ties Dr Colyvas is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
