I had visited previously just to get my ear wax cleaned and was pleased with his manner and knowledge, so I came back! The doctor was friendly and listened to my concerns. He took care of my two issues, and was clear with his instructions.

I recently had an appt. at the Legacy location, a very nice facility, with a clean, modern, and organized office, as well as a respectful and proficient staff.
I saw Dr. Peiffer. I found him to be an excellent ENT, both medically and professionally. (Over the years I’ve learned those two qualities do not always co-exist.) In addition, he has a wonderful bedside manner, something I find is critical.
I explained my issues and Dr. Peiffer truly listened, educated me, offered options, and greatly reduced my initial anxiety over a proposed scoping by explaining, with great detail, not only the process, but how it feels in comparison to other fairly common procedures. In addition, he guided me through every second of that scoping, telling what to, how to breathe, etc. It was sooo much better than I expected. He was able to eradicate some fear as well as give me some answers and treatment options. I left his office having had a very positive experience and having found my new ENT.

Dr. Peiffer comes to Texas from the state of Ohio. He received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his training in Otolaryngology at the UT-Southwestern Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Peiffer is a published author and is active in missionary work providing head and neck surgical needs to impoverished areas of Central America.
Dr. Peiffer has an active interest in all aspects of head and neck surgery. He has structured his practice around creating a marriage of his fund of knowledge and surgical expertise with the patient’s own goals and expectations to provide the best possible individualized treatment plan. He has active interests in sinonasal disorders, chronic ear problems and hearing restoration, allergy, thyroid/parathyroid disorders, sleep medicine, and head and neck oncology for the adult and pediatric population.
Dr. Peiffer is excited to now call North Dallas home. He has numerous outdoor hobbies including sporting activities, cycling, and fishing.
