I arrived in the office exactly 13 min late to find out that the doctor left. And the receptionist told me that if he didn't see me when he came out that he was leaving.this was the first visit with the office being downtown los angeles you would think some time for parking would be granted on your first visit. She then says she would call him to see if he would come back. There 2 little girls behind the desk and also a nurse all complaining how hungry they were. Finally they said can I come back in a hour and a half. Then the nurse says she will just do the exam, ultra sound and blood test. So that can go to lunch and reschedule me with the doctor. As she's taking my blood pressure the doctor walks in with two interns. Barely says hello to me and my 7 year old son who was with me. Me and my son go to the other room where he asks me to lay back doesn't ask me any questions about me or my pregnancy. I have filled out no paper work at this point. He ask the intern to grab a drape tells her never mind. Decideds to just grab some paper towels instead to place over me the intern then begins my ultra sound. For about 30 seconds and then he explains the fluid sack. Then says to me I don't see a baby in there which means it's to early to tell or I'm going to miscarry but my body doesn't know it yet. As I'm so confused he goes to say this happens at this point he doesn't even know anything about me when my last period was nothing he didn't try to look any further. As I'm now in tears he is looking at me as if He Is clueless as to why I'm emotional. It seems as if he is just ready to go. He walks out not offering me a tissue or even a moment to say lets do a vaginal ultra sound so I can get a better look. He says just start your prenatal and come back in two weeks and we will see then. Meh leaves the the other girl comes in to take blood never washed her hands never put on gloves and just starts taking blood. On the way out they write me a prescription for prenatal vitamins and then have me fill out paper work one page which was barely visible. One page that was in Spanish. All to say I've never experienced anything so careless and unprofessional in a medical office in my life. This was horrible I spent all night on googgle looking up pictures of ultra sounds and hearing stories of similar situations. My 7 year old left consoling me. It was just horrible all the way around. The whole office ended up at the elevator with me bc everyone was so hungry and rushing their patient out for lunch. Never showing any concern to anything at all

The staff was unprofessional at times. The receptionist argued with me about my appointment time and didn't apologize when she found out she was wrong. The doctor seemed to be in a hurry and even the comment as I was In the waiting area, "who's next? I need to get out of here!" I probably wouldn't have minded this comment had it not been my first time. The staff and doctor were not personable or friendly, which was contrary to the reviews that I read prior to choosing this doctor.

I went to about 4 appt due to frequent spotting ant generally not feeling well. Dr. Rogers said I was fine and did ultrasounds at each visit. I still didn't feel right. I had a appt on a Monday, he said everything looked great, there was a heartbeat (but we couldn't hear it) and the fetus measured about 7 weeks. I made an appt with another doctor the following day because I just didn't feel right and during the ultrasound the new Doctor couldn't find a thing! We did a vaginal ultrasound and there was nothing but matter. They sent me to a specialist who confirmed the fetus was only 5 weeks in size and was not a viable pregnancy. I called Rogers office and he told the receptionist he saw a heart beat everything was fine. Well, I'm scheduled for my d and c , my levels dropped. The heart beat was most likely mY own, pulsating the matter. If he looked more carefully he could of seen the giant yolk sack which is not normal! I am most concerned because on a Monday, he said I was ok. On Tuesday at my next appt it wasn't ok. And due to the size of the fetus, the pregnancy wasn't viable for 2 weeks. I know miscarraiges happen, I do not blame the doctor but what I do think that his rushing on my ultrasound was wrong.

2nd visit was way better than the 1st visit. Was kinda nervous when I first visited the clinic So I wasn't able to ask a lot of questions. The 2nd visit made me learned a lot, especially about the result of my test from the first visit! Dr. Rogers is so professional! Friendly! And handsome! Lol..
Highly recommended!! See you next time, Dr. Rogers!
