Joseph Roofeh, MD, is a board certified OB/GYN in the Century City neighborhood of Los Angeles. Dr. Roofeh provides integrative care for women 16 and up, offering a deluxe experience for all of their women’s health needs. Dr. Roofeh attended The Technion Medical School for his medical degree. He then went on to complete his medical training at the Detroit Medical Center. While in training, he was one of the top residents, and was voted to be academic chief in his final year to create lesson plans for standardized tests and surgical curricula for the new residents. With world travel experience, Dr. Roofeh is able to bring a wealth of knowledge to medical conditions and offer all-encompassing care tailored to the patient’s background, medical history, lifestyle, and self-care habits. As a gynecology and obstetrics specialist, Dr. Roofeh values patient-centered and attentive care, always making himself available to patients whenever they have a health issue or concern. He can help provide medical care and guidance for infertility, abnormal bleeding, menopause, and urinary incontinence. Dr. Roofeh is also highly skilled in da Vinci® robotic surgery, a procedure that utilizes minimally invasive techniques to effectively treat conditions like heavy bleeding, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and endometriosis. He has extensive experience handling complex cases, including high-risk pregnancy. While developing treatment and recovery plans, Dr. Roofeh encourages all of his patients to actively participate in their care. He provides education packets for prenatal and pregnancy counseling as well as pre- and post-operative care for major surgeries.

This was my first time visiting Dr. Roofeh and I was thoroughly impressed. He looked through all my prior records and was well prepared before seeing me. Seriously - look no further! Dr. Joseph is knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, listens, and takes the extra step to ensure he answers all your questions. Super thorough talking through your medical history and educates you on what to look out for in the future. I left with a clear understanding of my medical plan.
In addition, the Office staff members are fantastic - happy, competent, and super easy to work with. Follow up needs were scheduled right away and someone will call me with results - even if there are no findings and all is normal.
I truly appreciated the overall experience.

100% recommend!!! Dr Roofeh is amazing, he took the time to sit down before my first annual exam with him to ask about me and all the things he should know about my health. I am from Europe and not a lot of doctors do this in the US. The annual exam was painless. He explained me everything and a female nurse was present the whole time in the room. The ladies from his staff are the kindest. I also had an ultrasound done and blood work, and both were absolutely pain-free as well! Everyone made the experience feel smooth. Will recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor!
