With over a decade of clinical practice, Nicole specializes in holistic skin healing and hormonal health, with a knack for restoring fertility (leading to lots of happy and healthy babies!), IUI and IVF support, easing postpartum problems, menopause, and gastrointestinal issues.
Nicole holds a Master's in Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, a Bachelor's degree from Ohio University, and clinical herbalism training from the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine. In practice, she relies heavily on up-to-date clinical research alongside the teachings and cycles of the natural world. Growing up on her family's strawberry farm in Ohio, she was first introduced to herbal medicine at an early age, as it was passed down through generations of Appalachian folk healers within her family and surrounding community.
Her connection to nature and classical Five Element philosophy was strengthened during her solo hike on the Appalachian Trail, where she received her calling as a holistic medicine doctor.
In 2016, Nicole founded Herban Austin, a medicinal herb farm in Central Texas, where she cultivates organically grown botanicals for both Traditional Western folk and Chinese medicines-implemented in her clinical practice.
She has worked extensively with the V.A. to serve the veteran population, helping to ease conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance addiction.
