I had a great experience. I wasn't sure how a televisit would go but I was able to share documents with her, and she had allotted ample time the appointment so I didn't feel rushed at all. I learned new things and am already putting them to use.

Nicole at New York City Nutrition was highly recommended to me by a coworker who had previously worked with her for IBS and I am thrilled I contacted her. Nicole helped me with food sensitivities that were making me feel exhausted, swollen, and it was starting to affect my mental health. Nicole did a food sensitivity test with me, and was able to help me change up my diet to include foods that worked with my body, and now I have more energy, my clothes feel great, and I feel good in my own body. Highly recommend working with Nicole!

** Note: Clients are required to fill out onboarding forms prior to their initial consultation appointment. Please be sure to look out for an email from our office. ** Nicole is a Registered and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist at New York City Nutrition and has earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in nutrition from New York University. She was initially enrolled as a pre-med student, but soon realized she was most passionate about preventing disease rather than treating it. After Nutrition 101, she was hooked and switched her major to dietetics. She completed her dietetics internship and masters degree focusing on clinical nutrition, combining integrative and functional medicine to heal her clients. Her philosophy around nutrition is that there are no black and white rules; each day should be treated as a blank slate with different goals and requirements. She believes in everything in moderation, with a focus on whole foods first.

I've been struggling with stomach issues for years and by doctor told me my bloodwork was fine. This left me feeling lost, but then I started working with Nicole at New York City Nutrition and within weeks my symptoms improved!! I am so grateful for her guidance and support. I can now go out to eat, attend parties without feeling restricted because I know what my food triggers are! If you have stomach issues work with Nicole! She will help optimize your diet to help you feel better!
I cannot thank Nicole enough for helping me managing my insulin resistance and PCOS symptoms. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19 and was told birth control was my only option to help manage my symptoms, but Nicole took time during our appointment to explain how nutrition can help regulate my period, and decrease my symptoms. Not only do I have a regular period, but my acne has improved, I'm down 2 sizes, have more energy than ever, and most importantly I know how to manage my symptoms long term! Thank you Nicole and New York City Nutrition!!
For 5 years I have been trying to lose weight and saw many different nutritionists, but nothing worked. I was eating right, working out, and feeling frustrated. Nicole was the only dietitian who asked about my gut health. It was horrible! I was had been having extreme bloating and other embarrassing issues for years, but didn't think it was the reason why I couldn't loose weight. She referred me to a GI doctor, and I was tested for SIBO. Apparently, I had it for years and didn't know. Nicole worked with my doctor, created a specific protocol for me, and monitored my symptoms. Within weeks, my tummy issues improved and I started to lose weight. Nicole is patient, kind, and taught me how to speak with my doctor and what labs to request. I've never had so much support from a provider before and I am grateful I found her
Nicole was fantastic to work with! I had thought I knew how to eat a healthy diet, but I learned so much. She helped me see ways to change my diet that were empowering and possible, helping me have more energy during the day and minimize binging. I recommend her highly - she is so nonjudgemental and smart.
Nicole is amazing! She has given me so much useful information when dealing with my diabetes and PCOS. I struggled with my diet and felt helpless before, but she has turned my diet around and I now have such a healthy relationship with food. It’s a great feeling!
I have been working with Nicole at NYC Nutrition for almost a year and I am so pleased with the experience. For years I've had stomach issues but I couldn't pin down the cause. During lockdown, I figured I had the time to build better habits. For the first few months we came up with a plan that eliminated a lot of common food triggers but that didn't feel too restrictive. Since then, we've figured out what foods I may have to be more careful about and also analyzed some other eating habits I have. What I really like about Nicole is that she is warm and realistic about some of the challenges to staying on track. Now I'm able to enjoy food better without stomach issues and we came up with realistic plans for enjoying holidays, work travel, and vacations. It's been such an improvement in my well being that I can't believe I allowed myself to be uncomfortable for so long.
I've seen many nutritionist's in my life and Nicole was the first person who made me feel comfortable with my body at any stage of my goals. She helped me achieve my goals while also helping me to learn to love myself and to not just go by numbers but how I feel! I ended up seeing amazing results physically and also emotionally thanks to Nicole!
Very thorough

I've never seen a nutritionist before, but Nicole walked me through what to expect during our call and helped me create goals to achieve not just weight loss, but a better relationship with food while still enjoying the foods I love. Mind blown that I don't have to feel restricted or deprived AND can still work towards my goals
Highly recommend Nicole
Living with PCOS has left me frustrated because doctors are always so focused on my weight and telling me to lose weight, but Nicole is less concerned about the number on the scale and is genuinely interested in helping me feel better, regulate my period and increasing my energy levels. She recommended a new hormone test called DUTCH to check my hormones and for the first time in a long time I am EXCITED to see how nutrition, healing my body and DUTCH test will improve my symptoms!
What a breath of fresh air! First time I've visited a dietitian who is focused on my overall health and not just the number on the scale. Nicole is great and made me feel so at ease. Highly recommend!!!
Nicole is a great listener and helped me identify the why behind some of my food choices in just one session. Her approach is individualized and not a cookie cutter plan that is generated for everyone. I am excited for our next session and to learn more about my nutrition in a non-diet way
