Five Star all around!!!!! My follow up visit was also outstanding. Dr. Malhotra and staff were beyond exceptional when it came to performing my colonoscopy ***** Five Star all around *****

Dr. Malhotra was lovely, took her time, answered all my questions, etc. The office was also very well run and my wait time was virtually non-existent. I would highly recommend this practice, except that they use a lab downstairs for blood work, and it took over an hour to be seen. The lab is horribly run with poor communication and doesn't seem very clean or nice. It's so bad that I would consider choosing a different doctor in the future, which is a shame since I really liked Dr. Malhotra. I used to visit another doctor in the same building, and had forgotten how bad the lab situation is. I hope Dr. Malhotra's office considers having someone on staff who can handle routine blood work.

The rudest doctor I have ever came across! She finally met with me later than my appointment time and made me feel very rushed! She wouldn’t let me talk about my GI issues and wasn’t compassionate about listening to me. From the very start she kept pushing me for a procedure that I didn’t feel comfortable with and wanted to look into other options first. When she said “I don’t know what else you want me to do or what else you’re here for?” I left the appointment feeling like I made a mistake! I cancelled an appointment with a top rated GI doctor at my primary hospital GWU that was too far out and now I regret it. MedStar Washington Hospital Center gave me very bad vibes from the unprofessionalism throughout the whole staff! Even when I had gotten my blood drawn, I was poked too far and the phlebotomist knew she did something wrong because I was in so much pain and still have pain in the area a week later. I received my test results in the portal next day but have yet to hear from Dr. Malhotra to explain my results. I’m disappointed in her service and will not be returning to her practice!

Doctor Malhotra was very kind and listened to my description of symptoms with considerable attention. The visit was not rushed at all, and she stayed with me until she replied to all my answers. I recommend her.
