Life and Education:
I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and obtained my medical degree at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), where I graduated with honors.
Looking for further training and opportunities, I moved to the United States to complete residency training in General Pediatrics at the Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Early in my medical training, I became passionate by the lasting impact that caring for children with developmental & behavioral challenges can have in multiple aspects of their lives, their family dynamic, and society in general. This desire to help children with unique developmental needs led me to pursue specialized training in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics.
