Dr. Nisha Patel, M.D. went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed her family medicine training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. She joined this clinic because she shares a similar philosophy being that patient care is her number one priority. At this time she is not accepting new patients.
Dr. Patel practices all aspects of family medicine. She sees men, women, and children for routine checkups as well as illnesses. Her special clinical interests are women's health from adolescence to menopause, pediatrics, disease prevention, mental well-being, weight management, and aesthetic medicine.
She has a passion and a reputation for building strong long-term relationships with patients. Dr. Patel believes that good communication is a key component to good health. As her patient, you will be treated as an individual, not a specific condition or disease. From the time you walk in, the reception desk is welcoming and engaged with answering any questions. Dr. Patel’s medical assistant was very attentive and professional. My wife and I are moving soon, and one of our biggest regrets is that we won't easily find as fantastic a doctor as Nisha Patel.
Rarely have I come across a professional from any field as compassionate, interested, and pragmatic as Dr. Patel. She's gone out of her way to listen and respond to every one of my concerns, suggested valuable interventions, and genuinely reassured me that with all my medical challenges I was not alone. Her kindness and bedside manner would have been enough to warrant praise- but she's also steadfastly committed to improving health outcomes and has repeatedly provided better advice and direction in uncommon health topics than specialists I've worked with for years.
There simply aren't enough people, let alone medical practitioners, with the empathy, breadth of knowledge, and humanitarian drive of Dr. Patel. I recommend her without reservation, and am thankful to have found her!

I am in love with Dr. Nisha and allll of the staff at her office. Truly amazing people. I went in there shaking so hard (regular checkup but I have forever been terrified of doctors visits) and they put me at ease so sweetly. Dr. Nisha herself is candid and sweet and thorough. I’m happy to have a primary care doctor again after 15 years. And I’m glad it’s her!!

Nisha has been my doctor for years and always listens to my concerns and is very comforting, but realistic about them. Even though I live in the city, I'm always willing to make the trip our to Arlington Heights to see Dr. Patel or Angelica, the nurse practitioner. Both of them are easy to talk to and discuss your issues with. I always walk away feeling better with peace of mind.
