I'm a first time mom & my anxiety is always at high! I was anxious about getting my daughter tested but the Dr was amazing at explaining what was going to happen and listening to my concerns without judging. Audrey was also amazing at assuring me she was in great hands! She was so sweet and careful with my daughter! The whole staff was great! From check in to check out! I'm happy I chose the perfect office! Thank you everyone!!!

I really enjoyed my visit - she was so nice and very attentive to my questions. Everything was smooth and easy to understand. This was my first time at an allergist before so I really didn't know what to expect but I highly recommend her and look forward to using her again for future appointments!

Dr. Chokshi received admittance in the Medical Science Scholars Program at Texas A&M University, an accelerated combined undergraduate and medical degree program. There she received her Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.). After graduation, Dr. Chokshi completed a pediatrics residency at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine. She stayed to complete her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. While there, Dr. Chokshi developed her interest in the intricate mechanisms of food allergic disorders. She also helped redesign the food allergy and food challenge protocols utilized at Texas Children’s Hospital.
This interest in food allergic disorders led Dr. Chokshi to move to New York, NY, where she joined faculty at the premier food allergy institute Mount Sinai, Icahn School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of Allergy and Immunology. During her tenure, Dr. Chokshi focused primarily on clinical food allergic disorders. Dr. Niti Chokshi, the food allergy and oral desensitization expert, treats pediatric and adult patients. She uses methods such as food challenges and oral immunotherapy to treat food allergies, making a huge impact on the quality of life for food allergic patients. Dr. Chokshi joined the renown Vital Allergy & Asthma Center to add her expertise in food allergy research, diagnosis and treatment.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Chokshi enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Chokshi’s husband, Dr. Ankit Shah, is an interventional radiologist with the West Houston Radiology Group. She enjoys reading, exercising, trying out new restaurants in Houston, and traveling. Dr. Chokshi has a deep interest in improving the quality of life of all allergy suffers, particularly those with food allergic conditions

My experience with Dr. Chokshi was very positive. I went in for a mystery rash. I got there early and she was able to see me right away. Her office is clean and in a nice building. Her staff is extremely nice and personable. Lol especially when I nearly passed out after getting a shot, they all helped me lie down in an empty room and insisted I stay until I felt better. It seems silly, but I could see some people being annoyed with having to deal with all that. So yes, I very much recommend her.

Very pleased with Dr. Chokshi and her staff. A bit of a bad start as Zocdoc info hadn’t come through prior to my arrival but the friendly staff got me sorted and in to see the doctor pretty quickly. Dr. Chokshi had excellent bedside manner and answered all my questions and concerns. Highly recommended.
