Dr. Patel completed medical school at Jabalpur University Government Medical College in 1979. He obtained a master’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health and Epidemiology in 1987. He completed a residency at New York Medical College in Bronx, NY in 1993 before a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology and a fellowship in Epilepsy at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School Program Newark, NJ in 1997. His favorite neurologic disorders to treat are seizures, delayed speech, weakness, headaches, migraines, autism, ADHD and intellectual disabilities. He is currently working in Columbia, MO in private practice. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, visiting his grandkids, and social events.
