The office is clean and organized. Front desk staff was helpful. And Dr. Cepeda was friendly, great bedside manner and tried her best to make my cranky baby feel comfortable about being touched by a stranger. I like that she didn't rush to prescribe drugs but instead gave me samples of a homeopathic product to give my infant. Her office is a little out of the way for me, but I think I'll be back anyway.

Dr. Nitzia Cepeda is a native of Puerto Rico. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology and graduated from medical school in Puerto Rico. She moved to Texas to complete pediatric training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. After finishing residency she went to a private practice as a hospitalist in the Houston area. She was the admitting physician in three hospitals and was in charge of attending deliveries and managing premature babies in the intensive care unit.
She moved to Austin in 2005 and joined a group of physicians in Round Rock, and in 2007 she started her own practice, Jollyville Pediatrics.
Dr. Cepeda is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also licensed as medical director of the clinic laboratory and completes Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses every two years. Dr. Cepeda is very involved with the community and she has an interest for health education. She is interviewed once a month on Radio Mujer FM 95.1 in Austin where she discusses topics about public health.
Dr. Cepeda and husband, Dr. Eduardo Cepeda, have two beautiful and energetic boys. Her interests include running (she has completed two half marathons and one triathlon) and spending time with her family. Dr. Cepeda is fluent in Spanish.

From the moment walking in the office until we left the office our visit was delightful. Front end as well as back end were very prompt, courteous and extremely patient. It is usually very over whelming for some staff when I have to take all 4 kids to the doctor at same time but that was not the case with Dr. Cepeda and her staff! We were even tracked down from elevator because my little ones didn't grab their sticker on our way out!

Never have I met a doctor more caring & passionate towards children. I bring all 3 of my children to see Dr C. and she is simply amazing. Also the staff is awesome as well they always make our visits very pleasant. We Love Jollyville Pediatrics!

As a parent you question the decisions you make for your child. I know the best dicsion I have made for him is choosing N. Cepeda as his Pedatrician. Braxton loves his "Peda" and asks to see her when he doesn't feel well. Most kids hate going to the doctor and Braxton loves coming to her office. she is a blessing in our lives and we are so happy to refer to anyone. Best Pedatrican in Austin.
