More about Dr. Noah Branson, PsyD
I was born and raised in California and have lived in diverse communities in both Southern and Northern California. Much of my drive to become a psychologist has arisen from my own story of being biracial, growing up in a multicultural home, and working to integrate the various worlds I was a part of or came into contact with.
I identify as Hapa (half Chinese/half Caucasian), heterosexual, male, and go by the pronouns he, him, his. I identify as a Christian and I work with people of all faiths and beliefs.
I received my PsyD in clinical psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology after completing an APA-accredited internship at Biola University’s Counseling Center. I also hold degrees in music and theology, in addition to my degrees in psychology, and have worked as a freelance musician before pursuing psychology full time. I work to integrate all of those experiences and learning into the therapeutic process when they are relevant.
One of my goals as a person and psychologist is to do the work of living and making meaning of my own life and story so that I can offer authentic and healing relational space to my clients. Life is complex, painful, beautiful, and everything in between. My hope is that we can all be able to increasingly embrace life’s fullness with honesty, resiliency, and compassion.
