What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, and solution focused. I strongly believe that the client is the expert in their life. Consequently, I follow the client's lead in order to build a working relationship built on trust and safety. We search for strengths in order to use those to reach desired goals and decrease the negative effects of any limitations. It is your journey. I am there to help you make YOUR journey what you would like it to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You can expect to finish a session feeling seen, empowered, and more centered. I like to establish a short-term goal for each session in order to increase the likelihood that you will leave the session feeling successful and purposeful. I feel honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside clients through their challenges. I know how difficult it can be to make oneself vulnerable and open to change. I look forward to having the opportunity to see if I am the right person to walk on that path with you.
