He is seems like a great physician. The only negative thing is that I had to wait for nearly 30 min...and I was the first appointment of the day at 7:30 am. I'm sure OB docs have a busy and unpredictable schedule. Dr. Doss and his staff were very nice... so I plan to go back. Hope the wait is shorter next time.

Dr. Doss was born and raised in Austin. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Plan II Liberal Arts. While at UT, he had a relatively undistinguished one year career on the Longhorn basketball team!
He attended UT Southwestern Medical School and subsequently remained in Dallas to complete his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Parkland Hospital. In his last year, Dr. Doss was selected by the faculty to serve as Chief Resident for the program.
After finishing his residency, Dr. Doss established his solo private practice in Austin in August of 1977. Since then, he has practiced general Obstetrics and Gynecology, including:
routine and “high risk”prenatal care and delivery for over 8000 pregnancies
GYN “well-woman” annual exams, contraception, hormone therapy evaluation, infertility evaluation and major/minor surgical procedures
prompt referrals to outstanding community physicians when indicated

Dr. Doss is the best doctor I've ever worked with. He is kind, compassionate, knowledgable and never makes you feel awkward to ask any questions. I recommend him to every woman I know in Austin.
