An accomplished retina specialist, Dr. Norman Saffra received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He then completed two residencies, one in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center and the other in ophthalmology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. He is also fellowship trained in the vitreous retina at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Saffra is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, New York Society for Clinical Ophthalmology, and the American Uveitis Society. He brings extensive experience to his role at Medical and Surgical Eyesite, located in Hewlett, NY. He made me feel like I just just a chart, there was no greeting when he entered the room. He walked in, read my birthday and turned his back and began talking. I’ll never go back to his office.
In addition to his front desk staff continuously arguing with each other like sibling. Very unprofessional practice.
