His work has been published in Orbit and the Romanian Journal of Ophthalmology among others. He is also dedicated to community service, actively volunteering with Live Out Loud, mentoring LGBTQ+ youth and participating in scholarship selection committees. His long standing involvement in global health includes participation in the ILAC Medical Missions, providing vital eye care to underserved communities.
