After moving to United States, she completed her general psychiatry residency at Albany Medical College in NY. While there she was a Chief Resident.
Dr. Kershteyn truly believes that appropriate and timely treatment of emotional illness and substance use disorders can restore patient’s health, productivity, social and family life to the fullest. Dr. Kershteyn can help her patients by providing evidence based pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments. She utilizes ongoing education of patients about their conditions and treatment options and develops individual treatment plan which incorporate patients own values and preferences. Dr. Kershteyn believes in effective communication and coordination of care with other providers.
Outside of work, Dr. Kershteyn enjoys reading, museums, architecture, travel, gardening, and family time.

Her tone was condescending and rude. She criticized me for stating that 10:30am would be too early for my next appointment. She raised also her voice, and insinuated that the reason only reason im depressed is because I don’t wake up early and go for walks.
