Requires in house testing to prescribe certain medications that insurance companies do not pay for so must pay out of pocket and not cheap. Even though I’ve been on it for many many years and didn’t want to change anything. Will go elsewhere.

The doctor was very nice, however, I waited an hour to see him because he was on a phone call. Thankfully the receptionist was aware of my frustration and gave me updates. Overall I got what I needed.

The wait was not long and since I provided my insurance info prior to the appointment everything went smoothly. My consultation wasn’t long and Dr. M. Ahmad listened carefully and attentively to what I had to say. I have had priorpsychiatric treatment and was able to recall the medications I had previously which helped. The waiting area is kind of small and it can get a little congested. Overall my experience was pleasant and uneventful. I know some people were saying they had issues with their appointment from booking through the app, I didn’t have any issues in that regard.

The main issue was the fact that I was not told the lab they use doesn't take my insurance. The amount on the bill sent was outrageous. I also paid upfront for the visit even though I gave them my insurancecard. They turned around and submitted a bill to Cigna, were paid, and have yet to give me or the insurance company a refund. I think that might be considered insurance fraud.

Saw nurse practitioner, then the rude Dr. Nurse practitioner consults writes and signs prescriptions. Avoid both offices. This one I have visited the rosewell office. You are treated like a number not an appointment. Do not go

I believe the staff was very professional and helpful. The wait time was little long because I was responsible for that. It was the result of being late which related to heavy traffic that I had to deal with in orderto get there. Indeed, in over all the service was excellent. May God bless you all for the work you are doing.

I booked my appointment via ZocDoc for 10AM. I got to their office at 9:45AM. They open at 10AM. But the doctor does not see patients until after 1030AM. I wish I knew that before I booked a 10:00AM appointment. Iwaited until 11:15AM for my turn. The front desk staff are friendly; however, they are not considerate of your privacy at all. The assistant yelled out my prescription (the name and strength) and the whole waiting room could hear what I was prescribed. (Their was about 9 people waiting.) I don't care because I will never see those 9 people again; but MAJOR HIPPA violation and it sure made me feel uncomfortable. The doctor is good. But it depends on what you are seeking. If you want prescriptions, go to him. He'll gladly write them for you. As a matter of fact, he'll insist. But those weren't my intentions, so I will not go back to him.

I made an appointment here simply because they had one available for the following day. Bad idea! The lobby is so dirty and terrible, there was food spilled on the ground and the seats stained and filthy. The receptionists are notfriendly, and more importantly they don't return calls. They also look anything but professional, which I wouldn't mention if they weren't bad at their jobs. The doctor was ok, though he doesn't seem very interested in anything beyond a few short responses. You really can EASILY do better than this office. Don't come here unless you HAVE to. That's basically what this place is, for people who don't have any other option.

I don't understand how this man is allowed to practice medicine! I was attacked by him for simply being honest and transparent about myself so that I could receive the best possible care. On top of being attacked he literary threatenedto commit me because I stood up for myself and proceeded to tell me that he was not hard up for patients! Wow! The nerve of this guy, who by the way, took an oath for the care of others. A red flag should have went off when a year long patient was upset at the treatment towards him and said he wasn't returning as well. This guy is disgusting! I won't even fill the prescription he gave simply because I will not trust my health to such a despicable human being.

I happen to work in the ER and I understand waits, contrast to the ER which is unpredictable the wait for 45minutes at my appointment was unacceptable. After waiting that long, 5minutes was spent with the doctor staring at his computerand asking a few questions. There was no type of assessment or anything. This was a complete waste of time. Sadly; because I work in healthcare I know adequate assessment, care plan, and/or referral for continued care is what to expect from a provider. I did not receive that any care.

The office did not have a record of the appointment I made via ZocDoc although I did receive both email and text reminders from ZocDoc. Because the appointment was not recorded I had to wait for 2 hours to be seen. The office seems very chaotic. People waiting in the hallways etc. My appointment was for an assessment for ADHD and or anxiety. My appointment only lasted about 15 minutes. For a new patient with this type of assessment I expect a much more thorough evaluation. I will never go back or recommend him to anyone.

Despite the wait being so long, there was a positive side to it and he's totally worth seeing. He works hard! He is so nice and genuinely cares. Usually in behavioral medicine offices, the waits are long. Just make sure youset aside a few hours to go there and get everything done so you're not upset that he cut it close to your meeting time or etc. He runs a test to see how well your body metabolizes medications for trial and error reasons and I thought that was such a genius idea! The staff at the front desk were so nice! People have said some negative things about Dr. Ahmad and the staff on here, but don't believe them! If you cooperate and you aren't lazy- you're courteous to them and treat them with dignity and respect, they'll do the same for you. A plus is if you do your ZocDoc paperwork online and let ZocDoc send it to them. They love organized and prompt patients! I did not see one mean in their body. They are so caring and they all took care of me so well. If you don't have some class and pull yourself together while there, then what do you expect?! They're humans, not robots. Please treat them with respect and I'm confident your visit there will be absolutely fantastic. Thanks to everyone at This office- I will be back again!

Long wait; apparently largely because of complications arising from ZocDoc's scheduling info not consistently being loaded into the office's schedule. Unsure if the problem there is on ZocDoc's end, the office's, or both. Timely and competent care otherwise.
