I thought it was strange that she didn't have me fill out any forms regarding symptoms and previous diagnoses. I hope she wrote it all down! Her bedside manner was excellent and she really seemed to listen to me, which is not something I can say about most doctors. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit and would recommend her.

Olivia Ghaw, MD, completed her fellowship training at Mount Sinai Hospital and now joins the faculty in the Division of Rheumatology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Ghaw received her BA from Wellesley College and her medical degree from NYU Langone Medical Center. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. During these times, she has participated in numerous medical humanitarian missions to underserved locations such as Mongolia, Honduras, and Western China.

Highly recommended doctor. You may have a short wait if the office is busy, which it sometimes is. The worst wait time was 20-30 minutes, and sometimes there's been no wait at all. Either way, it's worth it to see Dr. Ghaw. She's smart, patient, thoughtful, and helpful. She will explain things clearly and talk through things with you. She obviously knows her stuff. The only reason I'd want to not recommend her is that if more people try to see her, the office wait time might go up!

She is very thorough and does not make you feel like you're being rushed out. She answers questions in layman's terms so you don't need a medical degree to understand what she's talking about.

Dr. Ghaw seems very knowledgeable. It is not clear what my problem is yet, but she asked a lot of questions and was able to narrow it down to a few possible explanations. Hopefully the blood work will give us a definitive answer. Overall a very positive experience so far.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Ghaw. I had gone to see her after going to another rheumatologist who had the worst bedside manner ever. But Dr. Ghaw was just the opposite. I only had to wait 5 minutes before being seen. She was not distracted and listened to my explanation for being there, asked a lot of pertinent questions regarding my symptoms, and thoroughly explained my test results. She also allowed me to ask questions and answered them intelligently and without necessarily using all the medical jargon. I found her to be professional yet friendly and trust that she will continue to be in future visits.
