Dr. Omar Al-Subee believes that successful medical care will always be fueled by a patient’s understanding of his or her condition while participating in their care to get the best results. Building a strong patient-physician relationship becomes even more important during an era of the utilization of various types of diagnostic testing. He incorporates all of the results into a meaningful and clearly defined plan that takes into consideration each patient’s needs, individuality, and goals while striving to apply the highest level of quality service.
Born into a middle-class family, Dr. Al-Subee learned not to take anything for granted. Success was the culmination of hard work, improving every talent, and building variable skills. Growing up in Damascus, the oldest continuously inhabited capital in the world where a mixture of civilizations and religions are blended, shaped his core beliefs of family, friendship, and compassion. Dr. Al-Subee immigrated to the United States with the determination to earn the highest level of training. Michigan became his second home, where he further acquired his medical training and experience. Dr. Al-Subee is blessed with five gifts: four boys and one girl. When Dr. Al-Subee is not treating his patients, he takes passion in volunteer work to help provide for the medical needs of the displaced and refugees around the world with a group of other physicians.
