She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Transplant Nephrology. Dr. Ayah serves on the faculty at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and contributes to research ethics as a committee member at Texas Southern University. Before her nephrology training, she worked for three years as a hospitalist, earning recognition for her compassionate care. She was named a “Patient Experience Champion” and later honored as “Outstanding Fellow” by UT San Antonio’s Internal Medicine residents. Outside of work, Dr. Ayah is active in her church and enjoys organizing community events. She values time with loved ones and stays active through virtual kickboxing. Fluent in German, English, French, and Pidgin English, she connects easily with diverse patients.
