About Dr. Masood Ahmad

We are only accepting patients in FL, WI, MT, OH, AL. Clinical Expertise: Early identification and management of Kidney Disease. Management of complications and co-existing conditions including anemia, metabolic bone disease, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, electrolyte disorders, and recurrent kidney stones. Post kidney transplant care, and peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis management. Dr. Masood Ahmad is a nephrologist and critical care physician who currently practices in Birmingham, AL. He trained in Nephrology and Critical Care at the University of Alabama at Birmingham after his Internal Medicine residency at West Virginia University. He completed medical school at The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. In addition to his practice, Dr. Masood has an active academic role in training residents at the Brookwood Baptist Health residency program. Dr. Masood Ahmad strongly believes in delivering safe and convenient quality care to individuals with kidney disease, preventing or slowing progression of kidney disease, timely referral for kidney transplantation and promoting home dialysis as appropriate.
