Dr. Burschtin is Sleep Certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Burschtin's clinical experience includes all areas of sleep disorders, from childhood to adolescence and adulthood to geriatric sleep disorders. His professional activities include clinical care, sleep education and research. He was born in Argentina and grew up in Uruguay. He moved to the United States from Montevideo Uruguay, where he received his undergraduate and medical school degree. He received his Internal Medicine training at the NYU Downtown Hospital. Subsequently, he attended his Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Fellowship Training at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Burschtin is dedicated full-time to the challenging field of sleep disorders and the consequences of sleep deprivation, sleep fragmentation, and to the improvement of daytime performance and quality of life. He is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew.
