“I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this doctor to a friend. What stood out the most was how informative and thorough he was throughout the entire visit. He took his time to really listen to my concerns without rushing, which made me feel heard and valued as a patient. He was also very reassuring and explained everything clearly, not only about my diagnosis, but also about preventative care moving forward.
On top of that, he was friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more comfortable. I left feeling confident and well informed about my health. I would absolutely go back, and I will be booking appointments for both of my children to see him as well. I highly recommend him.

About Dr. Sami Pervaiz
Dr. Sami Pervaiz is a compassionate triple board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care Medicine. His practice is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, offering same-day pulmonary function testing, lung ultrasound and laboratory services. The office also provides advanced non-invasive diagnostics, including liquid lung biopsies and non-invasive colon cancer screening.
Dr. Pervaiz has been practicing medicine since 2017. He earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency followed by a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Northwell Staten Island University Hospital. During this time, he served on the front lines of the ICU throughout the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, working tirelessly and selflessly to save lives. In recognition of his leadership and dedication, he was nominated Chief Fellow during his third year of fellowship.
Dr. Pervaiz specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, lung cancer, and sarcoidosis. He also has a a strong clinical focus on sleep medicine and obesity medicine.
Dr.Pervaiz is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

I had to spend three and a half hours at the office to complete my physical exam. The doctor was a great listener and kind, however this wait time while its nurse ad phlebotomist took too long in writing my reports made the experience very poor. The phlebotomist also hit on me which made him drawing my blood awkward.
