Omer Ibrahim, MD FAAD is a board-certified, fellowship trained Dermatologist who joins us from completing a prestigious fellowship in cosmetic, laser and dermatologic surgery at SkinCare Physicians in Boston, with clinical faculty from the Harvard, Yale, and Brown Departments of Dermatology.
Dr. Ibrahim has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and editorials on general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He has participated in numerous research trials covering topics ranging from hair loss to innovative laser anti-aging treatments. In addition, he has presented his work and research at national and international meetings.
Dr. Ibrahim will focus his practice on both general and cosmetic dermatology, while placing a strong emphasis on patient education and mapping comprehensive treatment plans for each individual patient. Alongside his extensive research and expertise in the field of hair loss, Dr. Ibrahim will also be running a Tuesday morning hair loss clinic. He also specializes in injectables, such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra, and Radiesse, and all laser procedures for red blood vessels, brown spots, and laser resurfacing.
Dr. Ibrahim looks forward to calling Chicago home, and enjoys traveling, attending concerts and live shows, and working out in preparation to dine out.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ibrahim's for several years, and I am so thankful for his expertise, attitude, and love for what he does. He is very intuitive and caring – I had been experiencing hair loss for months without much success, and he was able to pinpoint the issue and halt it before it became devastating. Even though he said it was only a 10% chance, he went with his gut and saved my hair. To add to it, he does the most fabulous job with all things cosmetic and keeps my face always looking fresh!

I highly recommend Dr. Ibrahim! He is one of the best dermatologists I have seen (and I have been to A LOT!). As your doctor, he is the perfect blend of honest medical and cosmetic advice. Other doctors have made me feel dumb for being so upset about my mild acne. Dr. Ibrahim listens to your concerns big or small. He sees a frustrated patient and wants to improve their quality of life. And a plus: His office staff is great. Reception is very nice!

By far the best dermatologist I’ve seen! I went in for a hair loss consultation. I was extremely nervous and didn’t know what to except but as soon as I walked in the receptionist was extremely nice and helpful, she made sure to sanitize the area prior to me checking-in. I waited for less than 2 minutes before being called which was great! I had the pleasure of being attended to by Naomi, she was excellent at collecting previous medical history and asking thorough questions. She was very warm and friendly, even went the extra mile and showed me where I could get my prescriptions for a lesser price (No insurance) she’s amazing! Now, Dr. Ibrahim went above and beyond at answering my questions and concerns, his bed side manners are impeccable. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. He made sure to walk me through everything step-by-step, From the medical condition that I have, to the treatment plan and medications he was putting me on. Not to mention he had Naomi take notes for me so I wouldn’t be overwhelmed by all the information he was giving me. Dr. Ibrahim took his time examining my scalp and answering every single question I had. I couldn’t be happier with how the appointment went. He definitely put me at ease. By far the best doctor visit I’ve had.

I absolutely love coming to Dr.Ibrahim! He is not only so kind and polite but extremely knowledgeable. He makes you feel very comfortable throughout the process and makes sure you love the results. This is my 4th visit with him, I’ve gotten Botox, Kybella and now fillers done by him and don’t have nothing but great things to say. I love the results of everything I’ve gotten done by him. Omer Ibrahim was great, I would recommend, he quickly diagnosed my issue, but the office he works out of is awful. I had issues with billing and the staff was less than helpful. The information given to me by their billing department was different than when I get there. They ended up charging me way more for upfront cost and were less than helpful. Will not be going back because of this.

Dr. Ibrahim has an excellent bedside manner that made me feel very comfortable discussing my concerns. I had uncertainty about what I wanted to do and he confidently proposed a plan, including recommendations on what *not* to do. He also explained why he made the recommendations.
We did an initial treatment same day and he was extremely gracious and understanding when my “fight or flight”response kept kicking in. I will definitely go back and recommend him to friends and family.

I went to see Dr. Ibrahim for acne treatment, and although the wait was short, and the staff was helpful, I would not recommend seeing him for acne. When he eventually came into the room, he probably looked at my face for a total of 20 seconds before prescribing me a one size fits all solution. He didn't ask me any questions about outside products I was using and didn't give me any advice about how to treat my skin other than the products he prescribed like makeup use. It was clear that he had better things to do than see me.
