Oren Y. Zebaida , M.D. grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He received his medical training and completed his residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He began practice in 2001 in Dallas as an emergency department and ambulatory care staff physician with the VA North Texas Health Care System. Dr. Zebaida joined Dallas Medical Specialists in January 2005.
“I strive to provide high-quality medical care with a strong emphasis on disease prevention. My special interests include cholesterol regulation, coronary artery disease prevention, congestive heart failure, and travel medicine. I believe that maintaining a strong personal relationship with each patient and applying what I learn from academic medicine are important for the patient’s overall health,” says Dr. Zebaida.
When away from the practice, he enjoys activities including travel, tennis, running, SCUBA and hiking. In addition to English, Dr. Zebaida is fluent in Hebrew.
