Short and quick but he is very friendly and polite. I am not sure if he has properly diagnosed my problem but so far after my first visit I think he is a friendly doctor who knows what he is talking about.

Dr. Gonzalez graduated from The University of New Mexico with a bachelors of science in Biochemistry and completed graduate studies in Neuroscience from The University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Medical degree from The College of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he spent a year in London, England as an international medical student. Dr. Gonzalez entered and completed his residency in Family Medicine with an emphasis in Orthopedics at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, where he was elected Chief of Academics in Family Medicine his third year. Dr. Gonzalez then went on to do a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey affiliate, Mountainside Hospital in New Jersey.
Dr. Gonzalez has served as team physician for several area high schools since he was a resident. He has worked the New York City Marathon as a physician for the past 6 years and has experience as a ringside physician as well, covering high profile fights such as the ‘Contender Series’ in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Gonzalez is board certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Medical Association.
